Do not simply read this. If that is all you are going to do, don’t waste your time. This is filled with questions and statements. It is recommended that you spend a little time meditating on each question and statement. Answer the questions in your own way. Rewrite each statement so it makes sense to you. Don’t just read and agree or disagree. That is a waste of time.

Here’s a question for you. Do you have a pet? Or have you ever had one?

A dog? A cat?

If not, have you ever tried to talk to an animal? Say “hi” to a cute dog, for example.

Did you happen to notice that their reply is very limited? In the child’s book; the dog says “Woof!” the cat says “Meow:. The cow goes “Mooo”. This is a very limited vocabulary.

Yet, to give them their due. A dog’s hungry bark is different from their “stay off my lawn” bark.

The point is animals communicate their needs in a limited fashion. Because their needs are limited.

Humans are different. And though you may not have consciously realized it, the major difference between humans and animals, besides thumbs, is vocabulary and the ability to use different words.

Vocabulary gives us the ability to communicate; to articulate our thoughts, feelings and emotions. Like no animal can.

No animal has written a poem, though some birds do sing beautifully. No animal has written a book – though each mother does teach its young how to survive.

A fed animal is a happy animal. All they need + want is something to eat, a warm place to sleep and a place to do their business (urinate and defecate). They are content.

Humans require more. Humans have a hunger for curiosity. Humans have a higher purpose than survival. Humans are complex organisms. When fed, they are eager to do something. Some are curious. Some just want more of what they have. Some are just not satisfied with the way things are.

Why is that?

Why are we different from animals? Why can we not be satisfied with a hot meal, a bed and a toilet?

As a soul – and you are a soul – not a body. You have existed for all time. And you have evolved. You have learned and grown.

Right now, you are intelligent energy reading. You are curious to learn from your environment.

Though survival is an issue, it is not your main focus.
