Importance of Cleansing
What does spiritual cleansing mean?
I means keeping your aura clean and clear so that you move through your day feeling more relaxed and ‘in charge.’
It also means that any negativity around in the environment cannot stop you from doing what you need to do for yourself. That is because by staying cleansed your buffer is stronger. You may feel the different energies around you but they do not distract you. You are able to discern more clearly and stay more detached.
Sound good? Yes, it is! See below for the Spiritual Cleansing technique.
This very simple technique needs to be practised daily so that it becomes a routine in your life. Cleanse in the morning when you get up and in the evening before going to bed – at least. There may be other times that you could cleanse; times such as, before an important meeting or before going on a trip or when making important decisions.
Why cleanse? By cleansing regularly you are raising your vibration so that contact with your spiritual helpers is quicker, easier and clearer. That is, your vibration becomes closer to theirs.
It also helps you stay detached from any negativity around in your environment. When you step out each day, life feels simpler and more manageable.
You can do the Cleansing Technique both physically and mentally. Just by saying the affirmation you are making a difference. Gradually, you will sense that what threw you off your path last week does not bother you the same any more. You are in your own shell of clear energy – your own bubble.
Cleansing can help with your personal decision-making. Your Helpers have the big spiritual picture for you so they know what is in your best interests. Remember though that they are master souls and will not interfere with your free will. They will suggest but you need to make the decision for yourself. Whatever you decide they will back and support you 100%.
So make it a routine. Raise your vibration. Stay in control of your energy.
What tastes better than a cool glass of water on a hot day?
Water keeps my body healthy. It is recommended to drink eight glasses of water a day. I’ll have to try that someday.
Energy is like water.
Spirtual cleansing is like taking a cool drink of water. It’s refreshing.
What it does it smooths out the aura.
You can pick up thoughts and feelings all day and night. Many of them you are not aware of.
Some are good and benefit you.
Some are not so good, they do not benefit you.
If they are not helping you to be successful, do you need them?
They are like bugs. They just show up. If they stay around a while and you feed them by thinking they are real, they start to take on a life of their own.

The reason for Spiritual Cleansing is to get you in the same state of consciousness as your team of angels. They are detached from the concepts of planet Earth. They focus on the Big Picture; all of eternity – this lifetime and beyond.
My intellect keeps me in my little picture; my concepts. Spiritual Cleansing frees me from the concepts I have attracted long enough so I can communicate with my Guidance.
Life is dynamic. It doesn’t stay the same. It flows like a river or an ocean current. My intellect struggles with my feelings to be in charge. “What if everyone did what they felt like?” My intellect wants to protect me, to help me to survive, to keep me safe. It deals with the now and my short term future. Eat that ice cream and enjoy it. (I can worry about getting fat later).
My feelings are infinite, one-with-all. They are my connection to the source and my guidance. Feelings are not emotions.
These three things: thoughts, feelings and emotions are what determine my direction – what I want.
Some good questions to ask my guidance is:
- “Is _________ my thought?”
- “Is _________ my feeling?”
- “Is _________ an emotion I am feeling?”
- “Is _________ an emotion I am thinking?
Emotions are the plastic feelings of the intellect.

Feelings are the facts of what I want: What? When? Where? Why? What am I getting out of it?
Thoughts are the steps I need to take in order to accomplish my feelings – what I want.
It’s that simple. No need for theories or complications. Once I clarify what my feelings are, what my emotions are and what I want – really, really want – it all starts to fall into place. All the rest fades into the background, like the scenery in a play.
There is nothing bad or evil about the intellect – even though some have compared it to Lucifer – the fallen Angel. It is just untrained. No one told me that there was a difference between my emotions and my feelings. It is this misunderstanding that causes confusion.
This little confusion is what keeps me from doing the right thing at the right time.
And that is all that I want: to do the right thing at the right time so I can experience maximum fun and fulfillment.
Technique I: What do you want?
Cleanse and relax.
Think about some of the things that you want.

A new car? A vacation? Whatever…
Start of list of the things you want.
It could be things like Peace, Understanding or Appreciation. It doesn’t have to be only material things. It could be spiritual things as well.
Once you have 10 items on your list. Cleanse and call you Guidance in close. Ask them,
“Is ___________________________ what I really want?” As opposed to do I just think I want it, or I should want it.
Place a Ö for yes and an X for a no after checking each item.
Rewrite your list of Ö’s.
Then cleanse and recheck with your Guidance. “Are these items that I want in my best interests and in the best interests of all concerned?”
Again mark your list with Ö’s or X’s.
Rewrite your list again of all the Ö’s.
Now go through each item, one at a time and check the timing: Now? this week? this month? this year? this lifetime? next lifetime? etc.
Check the where for each item:
- “is this my Personal?” – meaning just me.
- “Is this my Business?” – meaning part of my life purpose.
- “Is this Social?” – meaning part of my maze, my programming.
Now ask for each item, why you want to accomplish it. And record that in your journal.
Next, ask your guidance, “What am I going to get out of it?” And record that in your journal as well.
Now you have the facts. You can honestly decide for yourself. Do I really, really want it or not?
