The first step of a journey is the hardest. This first step is your foundation. You need to have a clear understanding of spiritual concepts if you are going to avoid confusion and be able to discern your own truths. There are two versions, Jan’s and Tomas’. They are two different viewpoints of the same thing. There are basic spiritual truths and everybody understands them in a different way – based on their experiences.

“You can do almost anything with soup stock, it’s like a strong foundation. When you have the right foundation, everything tastes good.”

Martin Yan

Yes, we’re not learning how to cook. But to illustrate, everything has wisdom. It is important to not take this all too seriously. In other words, relax. This lifetime is short. All we can do is gain some wisdom and have some fun along the way. Everything else is temporary, the only permanent and, therefore, real benefits we can achieve is the wisdom and feelings we gain from our experiences.

These are the basics of spiritual living. We have not been taught anything about these that we can really rely on. You have all your answers for all your questions. All you need is a little help in digging them out.

  • You are energy.
  • You have a purpose.
  • You have a team of guardian angels.
  • You are here to learn and grow.
  • You are free.

So take this little course on Spiritual Foundations and see how you relate with it. These are basics, which you are probably already aware of them. The important thing to retain is to keep it simple. Once the explanation becomes complicated, you are not discussing spiritual truths.

We would recommend you read each little chapter and meditate on what it contains. If you take the time to fit these ideas into your belief system you will start to change in a profound way.

“Truth is complete in itself. Truth has a strong foundation in itself. It is bold, it has no fears. It has no limit of space or time. It is a fearless, free bird in the sky. It does not care for status. It is wealth in itself. Truth stands even when there is no public support.”
